A Little Bit About Me:
Hi! I’m Kiley! I am New York City based actress, teaching artist, podcaster, and life-long learner. I was born and raised in the small town of Petaluma, CA also known as “The Egg Basket of the World” and I graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with an emphasis in Performance. It was here that I cultivated a love for such American Classics as Tennessee Williams’, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Thornton Wilder’s, Our Town. I also fell in love with Theatre For Young Audiences while performing in the Belmont Repertory Company’s Touring show, The Frogville Skits. After graduating, I spent some time pounding the pavement in Hollywood, CA before ultimately heading out to The Big Apple to further pursue a career in Theatre.
Upon arriving in New York City, I began involving myself with numerous studios including The Stella Adler Studio of Acting and HB Studio. I continue to hone my craft by continuously taking classes and workshops in acting/scene study, voice and speech, voice over, movement, and dance. My heart lies with the classics, works with heightened language, children’s theatre, and powerful stories that expose the juxtaposition of the absolute horror and awe-inspiring beauty that is the human existence. I have worked for years as a teaching artist giving young children the license to explore the world and to learn through creativity and the arts.
Recently, I have stepped into the world of film by participating in a number of short films in and around the New York City area. I love collaborating with fellow creatives, which has led to writing and developing new projects, including a podcast exploring some of our greatest on-screen romances.
When not performing, I can be found singing Reba McEntire songs into my hairbrush, daydreaming about the tapping feet of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, enjoying a churro and long walk down Mainstreet, USA, and suiting up with the Avengers!
